Minoyaki is Japanese pottery and porcelain made in the Tono area of Gifu prefecture in Japan, which was authorized as one of Japanese traditional crafts in 1978.
Many Minoyaki manufacturers produce ceramics of various shapes, patterns and colors.
The amount of that production holds the first place, with as much as about 50% of the domestic market.
Minoyaki expressed by the feel of the clay, the glaze and the subtle design is highly evaluated around the world.
